Tuna
Saku Block is taken from the top Yellowfin tuna loin center and is quickly
frozen to maximize freshness. It is an exceptional quality sashimi-grade tuna
used in Japanese restaurants.
With
a strong and moist feel, Tuna has a mild and meaty flavor. The color is bright
red to brown-grayish-tan. Channel Seafoods International offers in excellent
condition frozen skinless/boneless saku plates. Our individually vacuumed tuna
items are packaged (IVP) and are raw, AAA grade. The seasonality ranges from
February to August. It is caught wildly, using methods of the hand lines and
the pole lines. Two ways of cooking for blocks of Tuna Saku exist: sashimi or
sushi.
Tuna
Saku is mostly seared or raw prepared. It is commonly used as an appetizer
accompanied with soy sauce and wasabi when served seared. The raw version is
specifically for your sushi applications, where sashimi or nigiri was used. Our
favorite idea for serving is to cover the tuna saku generously in a spiced salt
and pepper mixture and grill each side over a very high for a few seconds. Once
the Tuna is sliced, the salads, rice dishes, pizza, pasta, and Asian dishes are
then perfect for anything.
HEALTH
BENEFITS
Remarkable
health-promoting properties are due to the nutritional and organic compound
fish material, such as antioxidants, proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, and other
healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.
The
heart health promoters of omega-3 fatty acids are renowned for their essential
role in reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, their anti-inflammatory
effects, and their success in keeping fat accumulation in arteries off. It also
helps to lower blood pressure, especially with the help of potassium, the
mineral.
It
is particularly rich in protein, with nearly half the recommended value in
every 100 grams serving along with some of the high-dose amino acids. Growth is
assured, muscle recovery, rapid disease, and wound healing, and overall
metabolic efficiency. It can also help maintain healthy body weight and can aid
in any diet on weight loss.
An
abundance of selenium is also included in this loin with a recommended daily
value of 129 percent per hundred grams serving. The essential trace mineral has
antioxidant properties that significantly reduce the risk of cancer and
inflammation, and improve immunity in reducing oxidative stress. It is also a
decent source of phosphorus that helps in the protection of bones and teeth,
removing waste in the kidneys, and the overall functioning of cells.
It
also has high niacin content, a good source of vitamins B12, B6, and D. These B
vitamins contribute to the optimal health of the brain and nervous system, as
well as the formation of DNA and play a role in proper circulation of the
blood.
Another
advantage related to consuming this fish is its depression-relieving ability.
It's
not only delicious and healthy, but it'll also make you happy too.
Serving
suggestions:
Blocks
of Tuna Saku may be served as a sashimi or sushi dish.
How
to properly defrost frozen seafood:
Depending
on the quantity, we suggest that all frozen seafood be defrosted by putting the
product in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Never force a product to thaw
by running it under water (hot or cold, as the product can cook). This not only
decreases the taste but also poses a health hazard.
Safe
Handling:
Keep
frozen products ready for use. Do not refrigerate the drug.
