You seem to get overlooked alot lately. Never at the top of anybody’s “Hottest MCs” list and no “Famous” folk seem to namedrop you as their generic “favorite” when someone asks them about hip hop.
But it doesn’t matter, I don’t think anybody could listen to your catalog and no come up with the conclusion that you are the best lyricist and MC to ever hold the mic.

Nas you said it yourself “I’m the most hated artist in the game.” These magazines and radio outlets hate on you all the time! You are the BEST REGARDLESS! Stay positive even when your faced with negativity! GOD LOVES YOU and will continue to BLESS YOU! Your future is very bright and I wish you continued success! Don’t allow this or anything else to make you feel less than, because it seems that people like to hate on you due to their fear of what you offer! But you continue to rise above the ignorance of others and progress in your music and business ventures!
GOD BLESS

NAS GOD’S SON
LET ME WAIT NOT MUCH FO
THE NEW LP WITH PREEMO ON THE BOARD
(if not all produced by him, choose a good cohesion on the disc)
(just blaze, ?uestlov, hitek, produce gems too)
i just say dat cuz on ya albums, some prod are not really at the same level as ya verses!
i think why u hate the game, ol english, and some good beats are fo u, sure !!!
u see… sometimes it’s better to u to have a really bangaz (in every sense of the word) … a really hard beat… cuz u see stargate, sticman, had produced good beat…
but when u spit on the busta joint ON the big bang album
or also if u have the salaam remi at his top : one mic, made u look, …
that’s crazy!!! so choose goood. not really smooth like “america”, or “breathe”
that’s great !!!! encore !!! but if u have better beats to add !!! u have a classic and not a masterpiece like untitled !!! real talk to a real head, appreciation
one love, one mic, one nation ! peace nasir

Probably because XXL were paid to mention these blogs. And to make it look legit they throw in the well known ones such as Kanye or Curtis.
From time to time, perhaps Nas could voice his opinion on recent events - through his blog. He certainly has the audience for it.

the fuck you need a magazine cover for?
you the best my nigga, jeezy don’t fucking come close to your lyricism and skill.
Magazines and radio stations are for the dumbass public who don’t know shit about the truth or don’t even care for the fact. They aren’t prepared for the truth so when it hits them they gonna stumble and fall.
America is fucking up and they stuck in the mentality that its all doing good and theres no problems like we live in a fucking eutopia.
fuck am i preaching for, you display realness in your album.
I know you wanna get the pop about your shit going cuz you want to reach a large ass audience of people but don’t be discouraged for shit Nasir. You the Best nigga.

Nas, theres something you have to understand about society. When it comes to entertainment, people want what is going to feel good. What is not going to make them think. You are not entertainment, you are truth. Entertainment is not hip hop.
TC
August 18, 2008 @ 3:01 PM
More on that, Nas, I bet sometimes you wish you weren’t sent to speak truth. Cuz sometimes I do too. I dont think im some Nasir Jones or nothing. But i am one of those people who know shit aint all peaches and cream, and you cant act like it is. But as you say life is what you make it, regardless of what you are given at birth. But sometimes do you ever sit back and wish, “why was I given this logical mind? Why was i given this truth?” It is a cross to carry. Remember, when you’re shit dont go plat, that youre shit wasnt meant to go plat. Truth doesnt go plat. It is what it is.

omg. This is nas blog? I thought it was hoax..anyways. Comming from a person that never met you a DAY BEFORE IN MY LIFE, you were always one of my favorite artist because you kept your music genuine. Being that Iam a person that is CHOSEN by god to carry out a message, I understand that being a messenger is a tough seat. By no means do I judge but I do point out certain things to WARN people of the danger of it, if I see something they do not see.
Being a person that have walked with the wicked, and seen evil with my own eyes. I almost gave up on my life entirely when GOD called me he told me to sat my self apart from evil doers and be a 100%. you got people out here who have done wrong in their life but they are not evil doers, they are searching for god and truth in their life as they walk in the dark. Then you got people who are 100% about satans work, and those people are not concience, they do not desire truth or seek it.
A lot of these little girls have crushes and they will write love notes on blogs 2 nas suga coating the truth. some of these people dont’ know the danger, those souls are simply blind. But being a person who walk in the same shoes you walk. I know it’s important, to be 100% when carrying GODS MESSAGE. This do not mean that MESSENGERS ARE PERFECT PEOPLE WITHOUTH SIN. IVE SIN we all sin. Iam not throwing STONES.
Come all the way towards the TRUTH. This do not mean hang around a bunch of religious holy rollers. Just make sure that your energy is around people who is walking in TRUTH, if not, your MESSAGE will be TAINTED, and wont reach FULL POTENTIENAL. I’m saying this from EXPERIENCE, I’m SAYING THIS BECAUSE I KNOW THE DANGER IN IT.
The devil have been after me to paint me as a hyprocrit and a FALSE MESSENGER, but I know I’m a child of god. I know what it is like to be called a liar, and a fake.
Ive been on sites carryin out the message, and people have tried hard to stoop me down to a groupie stan of some sort. Ive been trying to WAKE UP HIPHOP. HIPHOP is BRAINWASHED. PEOPLE are thinking because they listen to the right hiphop thats all they got to do. It’s more than that. I’m not knocking artist, I’m simply got a mission to WAKE UP THE FANBASE, because of hiphoppers are totaly blind WALKING IN FALSE DOCTRINE.
I was simply touched by god. Yeah I’m from the hood Ive ranned the streets, and hung around some people I shouldnt have been around. However thats not who Iam at the end of the day. @ the end of the day I’m a child of god. & god want to use me to WAKE UP THE STREETS, because he know IVE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT. He called me to SAT APART & to be a LEADER. Ive have not CALLED MYSELF.
Because Iam a female from the streets, some have twisted up my mission as if I’m pretending to be a child of god or messenger for ATTENTION or got some type of attention to CHASE MEN. If I was of the devil, I would just do the devil work. I do not need to fake like a messenger to GET MONEY. I have street smarts and business smarts, I know how to survive. Iam a trooper Ive survived proverty and danger, with the help of god, so why serve the devil now?
I’m here to WAKE UP HIPHOP. I understand your mission, and if your truly doing it for god, you don’t need to worry about appoval or notary from man, your just reward will come from GOD!
I dont do this for publicity, money or fame. All messengers must put thier lust of the world aside to be fully used by god.

Back. I heard you put bmore in your lyrics, couldnt quite get it, it went over my head.
I don’t know if you heard about the little peasent hiphop fan from bmore, who was debating about nas on allhiphop. I don’t know if that what trigged that. I know rappers read blogs and sites on the low, and sometimes the critics or things that are being said get back to them some how.
Ive been rappin for quite some time now, I also roll with a underground group called NEMESIS. I don’t know if word went wrong that NEMESIS was a group against nas, or as if they are calling themselves NEMEMIS because of some type beef. These things have been in a making for quite some time, and these boys use the name NEMESIS, because they are anti industry, and feel that they are the INDUSTRY ENEMY, this is not about no particular rapper. However Iam connected to them, and I have expressed personal objective words towards nas, that was strickly MY OWN OPINION and had nothing to do with who Iam connected to.
Nemesis is not in a coalition agaisnt nas, and niether am I. Don’t waste time beefing with the BLOGS. This group was not based to get publicity from rap beef, nor do I say the things I say for PUBLICITY. I was rappin way before I started BLOGGIN. I had no intent on making a INTERNET CAREER. Ive been rappin way before MYSPACE AND YOUTUBE.
I have a history in my city, you can check from schools to neighborhoods, and find out that I have a history of keepin it real. Iam not a stripper on a pole pretending to be a messenger. Not that I judge them but that is not my occupation. Ive been trying to get my name out the garbage can for quite some time, writing the same stuff from site site. I do not have no real life connection to nas, I was just expressing my views on the message boards. People have been trying to figure out who Iam, and have called me everything in the book but WHO IAM.
some way the message prolly got back to you/nas as if I have personal beef with someone I NEVER MET. 2 the point where you feel the need to subliminal address me in music. Please STOP. In Be a nigger too, you said nobody is worthy to be your arch NEMESIS. In the new song with jeezy he throw some type subliminal using the word NEMESIS. Check it, I don’t know what it is, but this isnt a COALITION. Dont’ come at them because of a disaggreement with my BLOGS. These boys don’t know what I write on the blogs, and they are in the blind. We are not trying to come out to get juice and publicity from another person’s career. We do this for-real, on our own, with our own missions in tact.
before any industry insider who lurk the net or any rapper/entertainer jump to conclusion they need to talk to me personaly. If you can’t be woman or man enough to do that, please stop speaking about me. I can be reached at DEPSS@COPPIN.EDU.
Don’t go assuming and spreading gossip. You can’t see me over the computer, noone know my lifestory by opinions. For all the female net nas fans. Iam not a X, a GROUPIE, or a stan. I’m someone who simply share my opinion on the net, and some terrible horrible things came out from it and bottom line I want my name out the can, so like I said if you can’t be woman or man enough to reach me personaly please stop talkin.
To all the rappers and entertainers out there, stop beefin with bloggers. ya’ll hear about some talk about you on the blog and start rappin against it. First it could be someone joking, you can’t see the person, stop assuming that a blogger is lesser than you, it might be another millionaire online. Catch up these are the times of technology anybody can be online. Everybody online arent NERDS with no lives. You never know who have connections and who are making real life moves. people go 2 war with people that they cant’ see. I don’t get it. Trying to stop their real life moves, with FAKE GOSSIP. I would like for all this END.
I make real life moves and have been making them for sometime. I never know who Iam going to meet from day 2 day. Theres been people trying to find out who Iam, you wanna know hit DEPPS@COPPIN.EDU. Iam who I SAY IAM.

Barack Obama is Septimius Severus:
Change You Can Believe In
My people, whatever you do,
Be for who, who be for you
Lucius Septimius Severus
Oh ye Black Emperor of Rome
Barack Hussein Obama
Black President
Of the brave people’s home
Lucius, Born in Africa, this history is crazy
Septimius, became the Emperor of Rome in 193 AD
Severus, we had high hopes for you, every African man, woman and baby
But you became the metaphor of a weeping willow tree so sad, so shady
You went along with their brutality
You went along with their insanity
And disregard for non-Roman humanity
You rejected your own history
And adopted a Roman identity
Lucius Septimius Severus
Oh ye Black Emperor of Rome
Barack Hussein Obama
Black President
Of the brave people’s home
Oprah Winfrey’s best friend is influential, and her name is Gayle
All best friends are influential, and Barack Obama’s best friend seems to be Israel
Even with glowing lights and make up, the ugly truth can never hide
A Black leader from South Africa recently went to Israel and said the treatment of Palestinians looks just like apartheid,
Some say your speech on race was a nice try
You’ve given the image that you’re a very, very nice guy
and an oh so peaceful man
But I’ve read transcripts of your speeches,
And you want to bomb Iran
and you want to expand the war in Afghanistan
Man oh man
How will you explain to your daughters why Israel can have nuclear weapons, but Iran cannot,
How America can have Nuclear weapons but, but Iran cannot,
Even South Africa under white rule could have nuclear weapons, but Iran cannot
Without using double standards, giving an answer, you cannot
Lucius Septimius Severus
Oh ye Black Emperor of Rome
Barack Hussein Obama
Black President
Of the brave people’s home
You did not change the imperial policies of previous Caesars
You created fools of those who were serious believers
You defended the interests of Rome and not the interests of your father’s home
You prided your self as a Black Man who was a true patriot of Rome
You alone man became the most loyal Roman
History is a current event, so the past is the present and the present is the past
To you Rome came first and Africa came last
The perceived source of relief, is the source of our belief,
That’s why we believed in you so prematurely
Two thousand seasons later, you’d think that we would mature see
You with just your smile and an oath to defend all things Roman,
In the autumn of 2008, will we still fall for seductive symbols and tokens?
Lucius Septimius Severus
Oh ye Black Emperor of rome
Barack Hussein Obama
Black President
The brave people’s home
So the next time you go to Florida on family vacation to scuba in Key Largo
Look ninety miles to the south and explain why you kiss up to China , but support the Cuban embargo
Does that make your sponsors giggle?
Not a lot but maybe a little?
Will they quibble with this riddle?
What’s worse, the fact that Bill Clinton had Monica Lewinsky?
Or that your foreign policy advisor is Zbigniew Brzezinski?
You know, one of the guys behind the trilateral commission
You know, one of the guys who believe that a lie is not lie if it’s a lie by omission
You know, one of the guys who believes that the rule of law is a legal fiction
You know, one of the guys who is the prescription glasses to David Rockefeller’s world domination blurry vision?
You know, one the guys who thinks double speak is perfect diction
You know, one of the guys who thinks rubbing shoulders with evil is good for friction?
But your supporters are electrified by you,
Galvanized by you
Hypnotized and Magnetized by you,
They say you’re playing chess on a very high level
But, some of us don’t play chess with the devil
We play a game called confess with the devil
No, some of us don’t play chess with the devil
Yo, we play a game called stress with the devil
A continent of the oldest kings and the oldest queens demands your loyalty
The key to playing chess
Is to never lose your royalty
Would be first lady, it’s not too late for you to check your mate
Lucius Septimius Severus
Oh ye Black emperor of Rome
Barack Hussein Obama
Black President
Of a self proclaimed brave people’s home
Painted in staccato
Is the airbrushed image of the tragic magic mulatto
Kenya, Kenya, Ken-ya become President with elation and forget about grandma in a neo-colonized east African nation?
It’s a hell of a situation when Dick Cheney is a family relation
What is the proper allegiance when you have the historical grievance of black people under siege
When a country stabs you in the back, and makes it a crime when you bleed
Abraham Lincoln is your hero, but the emancipation proclamation was a zero,
because there was no one it freed
A country whose fruits came from the extermination and experimentation of red and black seeds
Jeremiah Wright was right, he never lied
When he preached about the book Medical Apartheid
But you condemned his plead, cause you know and I know that Americans don’t read
Is it possible to be a Patriotic American and a good world citizen?
Is it possible to be a good American and a high octane African?
In a land where the national past time is not baseball but deceiving, deceiving, deceiving
You may wake up and be seeing
Lucius Septimius Severus starring as Barack Hussein Obama
in a new epic movie called “Change You Can Believe In.

Thanks bro. Never using anything to promote myself. If I had other ways to get this message accross without the net than I would do so. I am the victim a situation. A person that started off bloggin and came accross the wrong people online, who tried to switch up my words as if Iam visciously agaisnt nas and his movement, when all I was doing is sharing my musical opinion like everyonelse
My team that I roll with have RESPECT for NASIR, for them to be attacked because of things I was bloggin is unfair. When we/they go out to do a show, they have to be looked upon as haters when they havent done a thing. It’s some nasty people who just like to get in between situations and don’t fully know the story, who take one thing and spread lies. Iam making moves and these lies are messing up my moves, so they must be destroyed. I don’t need another person’s name for publicity. Im not out for MONEY. I’m sitting on CASH. I DO THIS FOR FREE!
I do shows for free, I make music for free, and this is why Iam outside of this industry, because you can’t speak the truth without people being brainwashed into thinking everyone who speak out agaisnt something is doing it for self promotion, money or self gain. I have not called myself. Brother if I had other ways to get this message accross I would do so, but like I said, I never met him or anyonelse, however through my connections I know of RUMORS that are going around that are completly not true. Since he read this site, this is where I must post it.

Well Nas.. do you really want the truth? You are no longer fighting the hip-hop duality you have staked your claim on which way YOU wan to go.. and unfortunately its not in the scheme of women degradation, drug selling and other poisonous things that keeps the black populous down and the white populous buying.. I mean dude what you are talking about has not been done since the days of Public Enemy & KRS One.. Don’t get me wrong you have your Talib Kwali’s , Mos Def’s, and others, but they have not been doing it as long as you and they have not gotten to that level of house-hold name status yet. I’ve always been a harsh critic of you and Jay-Z because I expected more from ya’ll. I’m just a few years younger so I can see who from our era has that level of actual conscious awareness and you definitely have it. And the XXL’s , MTV’s of the world know it, but it will always get downplayed for the ignorance.. thats what keeps “White Fear” and “Black Stupidity” running on nuclear power. Keep droppin’ the jewels so we can make our mental amulets sparkle.

No Date But Nas Want primo/nas & nas/dr dre albums, out the same day !!!
but i think that iz impossible… cuz detox is coming,.. normally !!! this winter !!
but dr dre/aftermath/interscope are unpredictable. fuck but it’s what it’z.
so it’s sure that primo/nas it’s for 2009, i suppose if a dr dre album want to do with nas also they’ll start that in 2009 after detox promo/tour/concerts… so very long time after that.
but preemo and nas can work together cuz primo as famous as dr dre, and ain’t his potentiel commercial with a solo project. so that’s cool, if nas goes to work with him soon this winter. that will be classic ! and Platinium too, tho.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, yesterday :
“I write a book on the 1st album of Nas ‘Illmatic’ ”.
“Every song on Illmatic will be analyzed, interpreted and then re-articulated in a kind of intellectual sense from his own base in Hip Hop and we’re trying to deal with that seriously.”
Large Professor said “It means a lot. That’s what we were working for though. It’s finally paying off. It was a lot of hard work put into getting that album how it was – even getting Nas to that point. It’s finally payin’ off. Sometimes it’s a delayed reaction with things. Back in the days, my father would tell me, ‘You’re ahead of your time.’ I didn’t know what that meant. Sometimes that’s a good thing and a bad thing. You get a grasp on it, and you understand what it is, and you realize it.”
The Book is maybe for January 2009.

Nas : press conference, yesterday.
New single “Make The World Go Round” signification :
“People with power they gonna to do everything to keep that power, to keep poor people poor. So what poor people gotta do, poor people gotta stand up, get their grind on, get gangsta. Because whether you’re in the streets or you’re in a corporate office, gangstas make the world go round. Ballers make the world go round”
Relationshit with westcoast rapper The Game :
“Game is a good guy. He’s all about the art. He’s all about writing. Every time you see him he’s fun. Dude will make you crack up laughing just telling you street stories and just telling you about his day. It’s easy to work with him because he loves what he does and he’s somebody that makes me feel like I gotta keep writing.”

interview from AllHipHop.com, Keri Hilson talks about the collaboration with Nas on his single “Hero”.
“How was it working with Nas? “Hero” is a great song.
Thank you! Hey it was there before I touched it. It was already a hit. So I was honored [Nas] asked me to do it. But yeah, it was great working with Nas. He really is as chill and laid back as he appears. So I appreciate that about him – that he can be so political and so outspoken, and just be that cool, for real. In real life”.

Nas - The Prophet
For 15 years Nas has done what many rappers have tried but none have really accomplished. He has been able to make pure hip-hop music while remaining a commercially viable artist. From the moment we heard the young Queensbridge MC spit furiously on “Live At The BBQ” alongside Main Source we knew he was something special.
Soon after came Illmatic, an album which by many is considered to be the greatest hip-hop album ever released and a star was born. If there ever was an album that rattled the cages of hip-hop so to speak, Illmatic was it. Immediately crowned as the second coming of Rakim, Nas gave us vivid tales of the street life over some of the best beats ever created.
His second album, It Was Written gave the fans more of what we heard on Illmatic with a commercial appeal featuring songs like “If I Ruled The World”. The album also produced classic tracks such as “The Message” and “Take It In Blood”. It was the years following It Was Written when people began the criticisms of Nas, saying he was becoming “too commercial” or “not as good as he used to be”. I Am, Nastradamus, and The Firm album with Foxy Brown, Nature, and AZ were r eleased during this time and while commercially successful people felt it just wasn’t the same old Nas.
We later found out Nas was going through personal problems and his heart wasn’t in the music the way it once was. Many fans had counted Nas out and figured his best years were behind him but the year 2001 would prove everybody wrong as the historical lyrical battle between him and Jay-Z began. Jay started it with “Takeover” but Nas definitely ended it with his scathing dis track “Ether”. Nas was back on top of the world and released another classic album in Stillmatic.
If Nas had fallen off this album was proof that he was most definitely back on, releasing some of the best songs of his career such as “One Mic” and “Rewind”. Since the release of Stillmatic, Nas has consistently delivered that real hip-hop with his albums God’s Son, Street’s Disciple, Hip-Hop Is Dead, and of course his latest opus, Untitled.
Today Nas remains one of the most thought provoking and socially conscious MC’s around. Just as relevant in 2008 as he was in 1994 it’s no wonder Nas is one of the, if not the greatest MC to ever touch a microphone.
Sixshot.com: What’s up Nas?
Nas: Everything is good man. Everything is good.
Sixshot.com: There was a lot of controversy around the album Untitled. People were anticipating it heavily. Now that it’s finally out, are you happy with the response that you got to it?
Nas: Yeah definitely and the response that I’m still getting.
Sixshot.com: You obviously had a specific message that you wanted people to have with this album. Do you feel like people are taking from it what it is that you wanted to give them?
Nas: Yeah people got it man, they definitely got it. A lot of people are surprised because everybody don’t sound one way or this way or that way because it was, it was like me putting myself out there and putting out what I had on my mind. I wanted to put out a record that got people’s attention but this one was a little harder to push than my other ones. People didn’t really know what to expect. People realized when they heard this album that this was an album full of my opinions. Once they understood that then it was all good.
Sixshot.com: You’ve always had a message in your music dating as far back as Illmatic. Would you say that Untitled is the album where you offered up the most amounts of your opinions?
Nas: Yeah, probably yeah and definitely about one subject matter, you know?
Sixshot.com: You’ve always had positive messages in your music whether they were on a song like “I Can” where you showed children the right direction to take in life or a song like “If I Ruled The World” where you expose some injustices and whatnot. Does it bother you when Bill O’Reilly just says whatever he wants and kind of paints you out to be this criminal, which we know that you’re not?
Nas: Yeah, yeah that’s why I made the song, you know? He’s not the only person who has an outlet. He’s not the only person who has listeners. To be honest I think I have more listeners than he does.
Sixshot.com: You got the petition signed by hundreds of thousands of people. Were you surprised that there were so many people that showed up to support your cause?
Nas: Nah, you know what it was? They did like a permit type of thing where it was only a certain amount of people that could really be involved. We knew exactly how many people we were going to be dealing with. They always strike down on the hood and they always strike down on the black folks, not even just the black folks. This was our time to strike back.
Sixshot.com: You’re one of the most successful hip-hop artists ever. What do you think is the main factor that kept you so relevant for all these years?
Nas: I say that I like to go on that ride. I like to go on that ride musically and I feel that people want to get on that ride with me. They want to see where it’s going to go and where it’s really going to end up. They know that I’m a real fan of hip-hop. To this day I listen to rap and the fans can really relate to that fact. In that sense when I put it like that it’s like I’m in the game but at the same time I’m really not in the game. You know what I mean? It’s like I’m on the sidelines and I just stay quiet and I think people like it when I come off the sideline and make some noise once in a while.
Sixshot.com: That leads to my next question actually. Throughout your career you’ve been the guy who stays in the background a little bit, the guy who kind of avoids all the limelight, the guy who is just humble in general. Why did you decide to take that approach in terms of your music career?
Nas: I mean that’s just who I am, you know? You have to have your life man. Me, personally I think some of these dudes go to bed with all their watches and rings on man. I just think they get lost in who they are. I could see it in their albums. I could see it in their music. I could see it every single time I see them, they’re lost. You gotta have your life before everything, you know what I’m sayin’? You got to fight to have your life and that’s what it is.
Sixshot.com: You’ve been around in hip-hop for so long and you’ve been through the many different types of changes that the game has gone through. I know you released Hip-Hop Is Dead, which gives us a general idea, but how are you feeling overall about hip-hop today?
Nas: It’s dead, you know but it’s still inspiring to people who are trying to make music that sounds like they’re not trying to go down like that. They’re trying to keep the shit moving. There’s still money to be made because anything that starts off credible in the streets and then it goes global and it goes commercial then it’s obviously going to turn into something else. As long as cats are getting money off of it and cats are making music that makes me want to pick up my pen then I’m happy, you know? If there’s music that makes me want to throw it in my truck and just listen then I’m happy.
Sixshot.com: When you were first getting into hip-hop did you ever imagine that it would be this big and reach people around the world on the commercial level that it does?
Nas: I was always rooting for it to happen but once it got there, you know to the place where it’s at, it killed it. Right now it’s in a real awkward place, it’s in limbo. Being in limbo it’s the perfect place for it to be because it will never get too big and it will never fall off. It’s in a strange place and it’s working its way back into the mainstream and you can see that with Lil Wayne’s album and the numbers that he did. I don’t know if that trend is going to continue but it’s definitely cool to have that one album that could let people know that we’re still here.
Sixshot.com: In your music you address the problems that African Americans go through but you also mention the problems that other races go through from Italian to Irish. How is it that you have such a good grasp on the fact that people in general have their struggles that they go through regardless of race?
Nas: Anybody with two eyes knows that just being human is hard. Just waking up and getting in a pair of pants ain’t easy all the time, you know? It don’t matter who I am. I don’t wake up everyday and want to make a “Ni^#er” album about the pain and the struggle of a Black man. Everybody goes through the struggle, you know? It’s life. We live in this world where money rules and some are going to make it and some are going to fall. This album is for everybody because everybody goes through it, not just black people.
Sixshot.com: Was it a big issue for you when you had to change the album title to Untitled?
Nas: Nah we knew from the beginning you know what I’m sayin’? We were just throwing it out there to see if it stuck. That was no surprise and anybody would have a hard time getting that in stores but we went for it.
Sixshot.com: Now Nas, AZ did a mixtape project and he said in interviews that he thought it would kind of be similar in theme to your album. You two have known each other a long time. Did you listen to it and did you like it?
Nas: I didn’t hear it.
Sixshot.com: You have platinum and gold plaques, multiple albums, a ton of fans, are considered maybe the greatest MC ever, hit singles, groundbreaking music, and everything else that an MC can hope to achieve. At this point in your life do you feel like there is anything else left for you to accomplish in hip-hop?
Nas: Yeah man I mean I want to make seventy more albums. When I first got into this business I wanted to make one album and be out. A lot of times you just don’t want to deal with the industry but I kind of found a way to not deal with the industry. I still want to make it as long as I feel it, you know what I’m sayin’? I still want to make albums just for me. They’ll be just for me and for people who want to listen to it.
Sixshot.com: How have you found that balance where you could not have to deal with the industry so much?
Nas: I’m me. It’s just like anything else whether you’re a ball player, whether you’re a scholar, or whatever you have your life at the same time. You can’t be too consumed with anything because too much of anything is probably going to kill you. You just have your life man and if you don’t have one you should definitely figure out how to get one. There’s so much in this life to learn. Music is just one thing that takes up a lot of my time but yo there’s a downside to that.
Sixshot.com: All right Nas, you have a lot of die hard fans out there. Is there anything you’d like to say to them?
Nas: Peace my niggas.

Nas if this is really you I just want to say that I think Untitled was _nearly_ flawless but still a 5-star album. I think this was a complete step-up from Hip Hop Is Dead and is on an Illmatic-level in terms of quality. The only track that didn’t live up to everything else was “We Make The World Go Round”, but your rapping and flow was sick as hell on that one anyways. I’ve listened to that album so many times that I went and BOUGHT IT ON _VINYL_. Damn straight that album is the fucking shit and now I got it in the best format.
Don’t stop making your albums on Vinyl please!

Being a long time true fan, I know you like to tell these fools about something they don’t know. But the times have changed, and we can’t raise these kids like we used to. Everything change with time, you being you know that. So get on their level and lower the knowledge and talk about what they’re talking about. Don’t consider it as lowering your level, because even if you are saying the same things they are it’s still going to be with a better twist cause you NAS. I just like the look on the fans face that don’t know you when you drop something that they can keep up with like ETHER. You don’t have to worry about us true fans because we ain’t going nowhere, because we’re going to be to busy telling these new fools I TOLD U HE IS THE TRUTH. So let’s keep it simple so we true fan can do a little bragging about you out here to these new fools like we did when you dropped ETHER. Remember what dude told Prince in the movie Purple Rain; YOUR MUSIC MAKES SINCE TO NO ONE, BUT YOURSELF! Now let’s make a few changes like Prince did and rock the crowd like Prince did. PEACE!

People need to stop with teling Nas what he needs to do in order to be like every other rapper…Nas is very well capable of decidng what he wants his music to sound like….some of you sound like your trying to box Nas into the same catagory like everyone else (rappers that is) and by the way going platinum does not make you lyrical. Nas is his own man….and people need to listen more to the content of his music instead of how many units he sells, becaue Nas is able to go plainum….this album served its purpose and it is by far the best album of the year. Nas needs his true fans to not quesion him but to support and praise this album (UNTITLED) because he did it justice and made me proud to say I’m his fan! So please stop with all the critical critiques and acknowledge the great work he put into this album!

i’m Mister T !
yo Nas needs that, cuz now If his next album is like 200k
that will be a shame for hiphop. so he needs to take more BIGGER beats.
always with his LYRICAL genuine genius. But It’s necessary, dah shit is needed !
for his fans, but for THE HH in general. Nas iz (one of) the biggest lyricist eva.
and he needs to be relevant all days. But Nas KNOWS himself my comment, cuz
he would love to do a PREEMO/NAS album And a DR DRE/NAS album. but i think, that will be difficult. so maybe it’s a good occasion to do a disc, with Primo 5 tracks, Dre 5 tracks and Just Blaze too. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZIN’, OWWE !

Snatch up Jon B and do “The finer things part 2″ and connect with 9th Wonder. He keeps bringing your old joints back with his Tracks and they’re fire. I’d like a whole album but a couple of joints will do…

Nas,
I saw the XXL with Jeezy on the cover but I can’t take any magazine that has Jeezy on the cover seriously.
On a side note, I met you today at the Americana in Glendale. I want to thank you for taking the time to sign an autograph. I know you were shopping with the wifey so that was really cool of you to acknowledge a diehard fan. You should’ve seen my crazy ass. I ran all the way to Barnes and Nobles to find any Nas album and they didn’t even have a hip hop section! Luckily they had Illmatic in the pop section of all places and the cashier was nice enough to let me borrow a sharpie. Meeting you was unreal. There’s not another hip hop artist that I would’ve gone above and beyond to meet and get an autograph. It was truly an honor. I now own 3 Illmatic albums, the original release, the remastered, and the one you autographed today.
I’ll be honest, I was concerned about all of the rumors on who was producing your album Untitled, but when I finally got my hands on the album I knew it was yet another Nas CLASSIC.
One Love,
Danny

my president ! video coming soon !that will be a dope ish …
NaS murked it. Classic ! plus Nasir’s Tenth Album iz A serious thing. He needs a relevant commercial and critical acclaim album, since Stillmatic, after God’s Son,
the third effect iz needed. Untitled was good but too smooth for that. Mr Jones
needs A WHOLE cd with just blaze, primo, dr dre ’s beats ! Sounds like that !!!

Nas, Im a 27 year old African American Male currently working in urban development with a background in Political Science and Real Estate investment research. I rap too but just for fun, been rapping since i was 14. I was born in Laguardia Hospital and my fam lived at 115-14 220th St, Jamaica Queens/Cambria Heights until i was 20…i grew up in San Diego and Orange County, CA. My Uncle Gil has owned the Gil Johnson M.D. medical clinic on Linden since the early 90’s, now he has two spots on Linden. I been listening to your art since if i ruled the world and i been reading John Henrik-Clarke and Carter G. Woodson since about the same time. What do i have to do to get you to take your literary skills further into the philosophical realm and create literature to explain your art? Im pushing for you, because your the only man in Hip Hop that hasn’t abandoned the movement for sales…and you still get proper volume internationally…and i’ll still rip you apart if i ever battle you. lol Queens makes Kings Vol. 1

Fuck me this is the shit right here. First got wind of the album like September last year, someone wanted to give me the MP3 version, I said fuck that. You can’t copy a Nas album. Anyway, Fried chicken is my favourite track on the new ish but ‘America’ is hella deep though.

Nas, you are the best rapp artist that the world has ever witnessed. Sometimes i use to pray that my country can ever be blessed to produce an artist as good as you. You are not just a rapper, neither are you rapping to only earn money but you truly represent Africa and i wonder why. We’re very proud to have a rappper of your caliber in the rapp world. Keep it up, and may God Almighty reward all your efforts towards making the rapp scene, Africa and World in general a better place.
Sir, I would very much need your help if you can. Goodmorning Sir,
My name is Pampanga Bissaula, i am from Liberia. I am the eldest child of three. A while ago my Dad died, and the doctor said that he died of poisoning. But we didn’t believe him until recently. We couldn’t think of the reason why anyone would want to kill my dad. He was an easy going man and he really took very good care of us. When he died, my mom wanted to take over his business and properties, so that we may continue our education. To our greatest surprise, our uncles refused her access to our father’s property. They shared it among themselves and when my mom raised an alarm, they accused her of being responsible for my father’s death.
My mom ostracized, and we followed her to Ghana. We managed to rent a room where we stay now. We struggle to pay our house rent when it is due. But our worst enemy is hunger, but out of all this we still survived. I had plan of going back home one when i make a little money, to make my uncles pay for what ever they deed to us. But recently, my mom got very ill and was taken to a hospital here in Ghana. The doctor was kind enough to give her some medication but will not continue further treatment, unless we depositted the sum of $700 (seven hundred dollars). We have given all we’ve got but he wont touch my mom unless the payment is made. Please Sir, there is nothing in the world that means anything to me than my mom does. If she dies now, my hope of ever being somebody in life will die with her. Please help us. Don’t let my mom die, please.
Please Sir, help us in any way you can no matter how little. God Almighty will reward you a thousand times. Thanks you very much sir.
My number is: +233540949761 and my email address is: pampangalango@yahoo.com. May God reward as you help us.

I just read on another forum about a 15 year old girl who was at a pool party, and kicked another girl’s iPhone into the swimming pool on purpose. The unit was right next to the edge of the pool, and while no one was looking, she kicked it in. People still think it fell in accidentally. It turns out that the girl was envious and thought that the other girl is a spoiled brat cuz her parents buy her everything (including the iPhone) and she never has to work to earn anything on her own.

I wouldn’t use the iphone as a phone I’d just prefer it to the ipod touch because it has camera and since I don’t have that many songs in my library I wouldn’t need too much space. Is it possible to still access all the features on the iphone (aside from the phone) if I don’t activate it? Could you rate the pros and cons of each?

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop using Windows XP. I took it to Geek Squad because it was skipping and the freezing up when I played DVDs or any kind of audio. When it freezes I have to turn it off witut shutting it down. It also wouldn’t freeze right away..it freezes into about 10 minutes of playing DVDs or youtube videos. It was also making weird noises when it froze. Best Buy informed me that the noise wasn’t any hardware issue, but the kind of noise the computer makes when it’s frozen. They said nothing was wrong hardware wise, and that I had 6 viruses on the laptop. Well now, all those viruses are removed, and my laptop is still skipping and freezing when I play DVDs..to the point where I have to turn off the computer without shutting it down. Growling, he braced on his arms and shifted his knee to get better leverage. Salin told me that he was awake, but hes not come out of his suite. For a heartbeat, Nialdlye thought shed fall into Radins embrace and that Savous would follow. Arkir grabbed for Lanthan and managed to keep his hold as the smaller man twisted. She knew that, on some level. Now she understood and finally saw the nightmare shed been as a student. Eyrhaen peeped up to see her blow a kiss at her truemate. She looked to Eyrhaen as Hyle sat up, guarded hope in her eyes. Ive never been more proud of you. What was that swelling feeling deep inside her chest? Angrily, she dashed tears from her eyes, stepping toward the outer door. Shed come and done what she didnt want to do shed done the right thing. Brevins voice was so close, she had to open her eyes. Three sets of eyes focused on her as Tykirs cock hovered at her pussy. Relief put a smile on Brevins face. She shivered at the feel of liquid warmth oozing out of her. For you, came his hidden thought, I would make time. Considering the alternatives, I think what we endured recently is preferable. The curl to his lip was resigned. He watched, eyes hooded, as she climbed to her knees, then edged toward him.

When Lanthan backed up a step, putting distance between them, something behind her heart twisted. He stood still, letting them look their fill as they slowly filed into the room. Is the casting of this spell anything like the one that changes women to raedjour? Eyrhaen thought to watch Tykir suck him. The thought of lashing out at Brevin, Lanthan, or Tykir fizzled as it occurred.

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.

Effects on Vision - Single oral doses of phosphodiesterase inhibitors have demonstrated transient dose-related impairment of color discrimination (blue/green), using the Farnsworth-Munsell 100-hue test, with peak effects near the time of peak plasma levels. This finding is consistent with the inhibition of PDE6, which is involved in phototransduction in the retina. In a study to assess the effects of a single dose of tadalafil 40 mg on vision (N=59), no effects were observed on visual acuity, intraocular pressure, or pupillometry. Across all clinical studies with CIALIS, reports of changes in color vision were rare (<0.1% of patients).

If there were any doubts as to the increased use of Viagra, recent reports from North Wales laid those to rest. It is estimated that the use of Viagra has resulted in the NHS spending more than 5 million Euros in the last 5 years. This amount was paid out by the various local health boards found in the region.
The results of the estimates have resulted in strong opposition calls from the public and the politicians. According to this group, Viagra pills should not be included on the NHS.
Their argument is based on the view that many of the users who buy Viagra pills do it for recreational purposes rather than medical reasons.
For instance, Assembly member Darren Millar whilst airing his opinion claims that the money being spent by the NHS “….is a lot of cash to be spending and we know there is demand from people wanting to use Viagra and other drugs like it for recreational purposes”.

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with Cialis® (tadalafil); but not everyone who takes Cialis will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Cialis well. When people do develop Cialis side effects, in most cases they are minor. Often they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. In previous research studies, up to 3.1 percent of people taking Cialis stopped taking their medicine because of side effects.

The anti-impotence drug Viagra actually reduces men’s fertility by decreasing the ability of their sperm to fertilize an egg, according to a study conducted by researchers at Queen’s University Belfast and published in the journal Fertility and Sterility.
Researchers carried out two different experiments to determine what effect the popular drug might have on sperm cells. In the first study, human sperm samples were bathed in weak Viagra solutions, intended to approximate the blood concentration acquired from taking a single 100-milligram Viagra pill. They found that while the Viagra-bathed sperm became more active, they also suffered damage to the structure at their heads known as the acrosome. This portion of the cell contains enzymes that help break down the membrane around an egg so that the sperm can penetrate it.
To determine if this cell damage actually affected fertility rates, the researchers compared the fertility of two groups of male mice, one of which had been given Viagra. They found that mice in the Viagra group produced 40 percent fewer fertilized embryos than mice that had not been given any drugs.
Researcher David Glenn noted that the many fertility clinics that prescribe Viagra in order to increase sperm counts may actually be harming the fertility of their clients.
“I think it is worrying that some in-vitro fertilization clinics are using Viagra in order to boost fertility results,” Glenn said. “Couples that go there for treatment are, by definition, already having problems getting pregnant. Giving male partners something that could make the problem worse is scarcely the right approach.”
Glenn also expressed concern over the long-term effects that recreational Viagra use might have on people’s fertility.
“Viagra has become a widely used recreational drug,” Glenn said. “It is mixed with cocaine, for example, and is sold in clubs. Our work leaves open the possibility that there could be a cumulative effect from taking Viagra, however, which could pose serious fertility problems in later life.”

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
